My mummy got me an early Christmas present!

So as you'v all probably guessed by now I'm completely skint from saving so much for my new flat. So me and mother were walking around town this morning and she offered to pay for me to get a haircut for an early Christmas present, you can see in my last blog post I really needed one. (Thank-you mum!) So what do you think? basically just got it shorter and half the back off. I haven't styled it in the photos so it looks really flat but id still love to hear your opinions. 

Im not sure what the grumpy face is for... Sorry (Hahaha)


The other thing you may have noticed is i now have my lip pierced..
Iv had it done before so i don't think its a big deal at all.
I got it done over a month ago, Me and Jamie road tripped up to Rotorua and got ours done together.. I know it's a bit of a weird thing to do as a couple but hey were pretty original !

Woah, It seems like its been forever.

Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't poster in ages (i feel a wee bit guilty) but life's been super busy.
Im no longer moving over to the U.K due to personal issues I don't wish to discuss on here. Which in ways im rather upset about but on the bright side i'll still get to see my mother and father all the time which cant be bad.
To update you a bit more on the happenings in my life iv been seeing a lovely young man named Jamie for a little over two months now, hes a real sweetheart and were planning on moving in together on the 28th of this month.
We found a lovely two bedroom flat down by the river in Taupo. You can even see the bungy from the deck. oh i look forward to waking up to the screaming tourists. So if all goes to plan one of our friends Michael will be moving in shortly after that.
The other new thing that's happened lately is iv gotten a new job, Its at a cute little internet cafe in town and have had an interview for a job in a clothes store that i love so wish me luck on that!

Shopping Spree.

Hey everyone so I thought I'd show you some things iv brought recently. Iv been really into reds ever since I got my hair dyed so a lot of the accessories are red. Also my camera ran out of memory halfway through this post so il add some more another time

 Ok so first of all I brought this dress to wear on my birthday. I totally love the arms and how its so easy to dress it up with some heels and a bright belt or dress it down with some flats and a plain brown belt. I also brought the belt and earrings to match. I only have one other belt which is just plain brown so I was nervous getting one so bright but I totally love it now.

The dress is from evolution for about $130.00 if i remember correctly. The belt and earrings were from pagani and cost about $30.00 altogether.

Here's a closer view of the red earrings pictured above and some silver earrings I brought a few weeks back.
I love these blue earrings because I can pare them with almost anything. basically my go to earrings.

I brought them from pascoes jewellers for $35.00 so they were a total bargain.  

Next I brought these simple flats which are surprisingly comfy and I really like the simple chain design on the front. I didn't exactly buy the headband to be honest but I couldn't help but include it, my mother taught me to knit a few weeks back so I decided id make a headband. here is the result and im so proud of myself. im always wearing it on cold days keeping my ears warm LOVE IT!

Junk food and moving jitters

I’ve been sick for the last two days so I spent all day today cuddled up in bed watching old friend’s episodes and drinking ice tea which isn’t a bad way to spend the day really. Didn’t even have to put makeup on. My lovely father went out and brought me heaps of junk food which was exactly what I needed. No doubt to whether I’m going to the gym tomorrow or not now. I’ve been thinking about the big move heaps lately and it’s stressing me out more and more. Just as to whether or not I really can look after myself. I do rely on my parents a lot and being in a different country’s going to be so hard. Especially because of the time difference I won’t even be able to call them often. IM FREAKING OUT!  Just worrying about getting a job and a flat and everything, I know I’ll have the support of all my family over their but it’s going to be such a struggle. I’d love any advice or tips if you have them. Most of my family are based in Watford and my cousin in London so I think id look for work around Watford but im in love with the idea of living somewhere beautiful like bath. it seems like I have all these plans il never achieve.. *sigh* But on a positive note its my birthday next month!! Im planning on having a lunch with the ladies of family out in Reporoa. just some cake, salad and a few sly drinks.
I'll take heeeaps of photos no doubt and let y'all know how it goes. oh I am just so excited.     

Red lippy

 Went shopping with mother today and managed to pick up two O-M-SHE (Australia) lipsticks for only $15.00,

BARGAIN!!

 I got a nude coral (looks more nude in the photos thou) called Joy and a stunning red called Sheba which is just Amazing! Trust me when I say red lippy suits everyone. It makes your teeth look whiter and changes the shape of your lips. If you don't already own one I cant stress enough how lovely they are. Wearing a red lippy makes me feel a little more classy. Be confidant ladies!! 

Both these Lippy's seem to stay on rather well and not bad quality either. 

and for that price who can complain right?
The packaging is nothing special but does its job, overall im satisfied.

Cupcakes

Today was great! woke up to the smell of baking.. is their anything better?
Mother has made these cute little double chocolate surprise muffins (theirs raspberry jam inside) and gosh were they fantastic, dad took most of them to work with him to share with his workmates for lunch so I was rather gutted I only managed to gobble down one.

Red riding hood!

 Ok so today was rather exciting, I went to the hairdresser with a plan to dye my hair brown (oh how boring that would be) but upon arriving their I decided I needed something with a little more.. POW. So suddenly on the spot I decided to try red, yes I know a little different but hey you'v gotta take risks right.

My first Post.

Hello fellow blogger's, my names Catherine and this is my first blog so bare with me till I get used to all this.
In this blog I am planning sharing my favourite things, photos I take and other interesting things that happen in my daily life.

OK so we'l start off with the basics about me shall we.. I live in New Zealand but was born in Harlow (U.K), I may be moving back to the U.K in a few months to spend more time with relatives and to just explore a bit more. Im sixteen years old and no longer go to school due to stress and other personal reasons.
